Personal Bodyguard Filas

is privately owned by Mark and Eva Troka , located in Las Vegas Nevada .

We have filas since 1992 .

We are constantly striving to improve this breed as to its health , temperament , and

conformation according to FCI standards .
Our imported Filas from Brazil are chosen from the top Brazilian kennels, where breeders screen their filas for their health and temperament .
The best champion lines we take interest in gives us a guarantee , that those filas will do well in the ring and are very correct when it comes to the breed standard.
We don't buy puppies from Brazil randomly , we select the best head type, and the strong body structure , in order to pass this on to our future filas .
We choose homes for our little filas very carefully , so please don't feel offended when we were to ask you a lot of questions .
Our puppies are sold to approved homes only , with 1 year guarantee for hidden defects

and a 3 years guarantee for hips dysplasia .

All of our puppies come with written contract and a health certificate from our vet .

We will never let a puppy go to his new home younger than 9 weeks old .
We consider it unethical to separate pups from their mother any earlier .

We always supply papers for show and breeding quality puppies .
Pet quality puppies are sold with out their pedigree
until on spay / neuter contract .
Feeding:
All of our filas are fed with
Canidae , our older dogs are on Canidae/senior formula.

After feeding for over 14 years Canidae all Life Stages we decided to change for Grain Free formula .

What was the reason ? Well if you read article written by DOGTOR J you will understand

We cook chicken soup from
chicken thighs with lots of  veggies  in it , after mixing with their dry food we also add Alfa Alfa sprouts .
We also supply their food with :

raw meat - beef only ( beef tongues and beef hearts) mackerel fish and salmon .
Yogurt is added to every meal, and fresh veggies twice a week.
The Best quality dry food is very important for daily balance diet , and to keep them healthy, this is why we chose Human grade Canidae for our dogs long time ago.

Dogs love  yogurt , and it's good for them, too.

If your dog has had to take an antibiotic, giving him plain, unflavoured yogurt will repopulate his digestive system with healthy bacterial flora.

(Make sure the yogurt contains an active culture.)

Adding a small amount of yogurt to the food of a dog with gas can also cut down on his

distress.

And Even better than yogurt is Kefir

The history of kefir is centuries old.

The word "kefir" is said to have originated from the word "keif" which means" good feeling".

Kefir is like yogurt, but with a greater variety of cultures and significant health benefits.

Unlike yogurt, which typically contains only two or three different bacteria, true kefir contains a greater range of different microorganisms, each with its own unique contribution.

This is what separates kefir from all other cultured milk products.

Kefir is made by fermentation of "kefir" grains, which resemble minute cauliflowers.

The grains consist of casein and colonies of microorganisms that are grown together

symbiotically.

Kefir can only be made from pre-existing grains.

The cultured kefir added  processes antimicrobial activity against a wide variety of gram

positive and gram negative bacteria, helping to eliminate destructive pathogenic yeast and internal parasites.

The cultured kefir in also contains a unique extract of colostrum.

All mammals produce colostrum, sometimes called "first milk" or "foremilk".

Research has shown that concentrated forms of colostrum are able to block the effects of harmful pathogens and aid in the maintenance of a healthy intestinal tract. Colostrum also contains other nonspecific immune factors including lactoferrin and lactoperoxidase, which help control pathogens or harmful bacteria.

These natural immune components can recognize and resist multiple species of common bacteria such as E. coli, Staphylococci, Streptococci, Klebsiella, Enterococci, Pseudomonas, Clostridium Difficile, and Cryptosporidium.    more on nutrient ...
